What is Internet Chat

Internet Chat is an activity where two or more people text type at the same time. The primary goal is to communicate online in a light, very easy and informal manner. The chatters could be in different parts of the world - they will just sit in front of their computers and chat, using their keyboards to type text messages to each other. Chatters can even use instant messaging clients, such as Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger or AOL to talk to each other through Voice Over IP technologies.

A chatroom is a place where people can communicate in real-time. Typically people can talk about specific topics, books, reading, finance, business or just relaxed by sharing ideas, opinions or beliefs on a wide range of topics that might interest them.

What is Moderator

A moderator is someone that looks after a specific chatroom. He/she will make sure that everyone stick to the chat rules - those that break the rules will be banned.
